What is the difference between therapy and coaching?
While Doctor BeneFIT does have a Ph.D. in Psychology, her coaching services are not the same as mental health counselling or therapy. Doctor BeneFIT does not provide medication, does not offer diagnosis or treatment, nor is coaching focused on your past. Coaching provides encouragement, goal setting and attainment, prioritizes values, and most importantly provides support and accountability. Doctor BeneFIT focuses on your strengths, helps you create healthy habits, assists with getting you out of life ruts, and helps you create and implement a game plan for your future.
How is Doctor Benefit different from other Life and Wellness Coaches?
Dr. Danielle (a.k.a. Doctor BeneFIT) has over 14 years of experience as a psychotherapist with a Ph.D. in Psychology. In addition, she has multiple years of experience in the health and fitness industry with certifications in Nutrition, Fitness, Sleep Science, and Holistic Wellness.
Doctor BeneFIT takes on a holistic approach, as opposed to only focusing on fitness and nutrition. Doctor BeneFITs programs and coaching models are a combination of traditional life coaching, lifestyle coaching, holistic living, quality nutrition, optimal sleep, proper physical activity, emotional wellness, and stress management. There are an abundance of wonderful personal trainers, counselors, nutritionists, dietitians, etc. that practice in this world. The difference with Doctor BeneFIT is the holistic approach and understanding that every element of our human existence matters; each human element matters just as much as the next. Physical activity is important, nutrition is important, proper sleep is important, emotional regulation is important, stress management, self-care, self-esteem, family, work, finances, support system are all equally important. Doctor BeneFIT recognizes the equal importance all of these elements AND that it is the fusion and balance of all of the elements that creates a healthy, happy, joyful life.

How can a Sleep Science Coach help me?
Do you offer refunds?
Doctor BeneFIT does not offer refunds and this is rarely requested. As with any personal change, the effort you put forth will determine your results.
Month-to-Month Coaching includes 1-on-1 coaching with Dr. Danielle. Month-to month consists of three 60-minute phone calls (or FaceTime or Zoom), over the course of one month. In between sessions, clients can send email correspondence to Dr. Danielle. Areas of coaching can include, but are not limited to the following areas:

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a one-on-one session?
We require 24 hours advance notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Less than 24 hours advance notice, clients will be charged for the full, non-refunded price for the service.
